Snow report: Gatwick Airport closed, cancellations, delays

Snow joke … the wintry weather has closed airports and delayed flights

As of 9am (Thursday, 2 December) the following airports are closed due to the wintry conditions. Passengers are advised to check with their airline before leaving the house.

Management at Gatwick Airport say the runway will remain closed until at least 6am tomorrow (Friday, 3 December). www.gatwickairport.com

London City Airport’s runway is closed until midday today.   www.londoncityairport.com

London Heathrow Airport is open, with most flights operating but some subject to cancellations or delays. www.heathrowairport.com

Luton Airport is open, although there are some disruptions to its flights schedule. Passengers are advised to check with their airline or tour operator before leaving home. www.london-luton.co.uk
