Irish based aircraft lessor Lease Corporation International (LCI) has placed an order for six Airbus A330-300s powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines.

ATI sister publication Commercial Aviation Online (CAO) reports the operating lessor will take delivery of three aircraft in 2009 and the remaining three in 2010. All six aircraft will be placed on medium-term operating leases to Singapore Airlines.
