Fuel debts said to ground several Cameroon Airlines aircraft
African carrier Cameroon Airlines insists that it is still conducting flights although three of its aircraft are said to have been grounded over debts.
For the past 10 days, claims a local media report, three of Cameroon Airlines’ aircraft have been grounded in Douala owing to non-payment of fuel bills, causing significant disruption to the airline’s operations.
It is unclear which aircraft types might be affected. A Cameroon Airlines employee declines to comment on the claim or the airline’s fuel situation.
