Middle Eastern carrier Emirates is to conduct its first Airbus A380 service to New York JFK on 1 August, two months earlier than originally planned.

Emirates is due to take delivery of its first example on 28 July, and the carrier’s timetable currently shows it will perform two return flights from Dubai to New York over the first week of August.

Emirates’ reservation system does not feature any further A380 services until 1 October when its planned daily connection to JFK is set to begin.
