Dubai 2007: Executive double earns $208m for Embraer

Embraer scored a double success at the show with two executive aircraft deals totalling just over $208m. Abu Dhabi-based Falcon Aviation Services has bought eight aircraft while Spain’s Globalia Group has ordered 11 jets.

Falcon’s order covers a Lineage 1000, three Legacy 600s and four Phenom 300s worth a combined $146m. The first Legacy 600 is due to be delivered in the second quarter of 2008 while the Lineage 1000 is to be delivered in the second quarter of 2010. The first of the Phenoms will be available in the second quarter of 2011.

Falcon CEO Dr Sheikh Sultan says: “The Embraer Executive Jets allow us to cover all segments with aircraft that offer spacious cabins and comfort. In addition, Embraer’s experience in developing jets with high availability gives FAS the right too to continue its aggressive growth strategy.
