Prague from above … the view from a bmibaby flight?

When we think of Summer 2012 a few things come to mind - there’s the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee (and extra bank holiday on 2-5 June), the Olympics (in London) and the European Championships (in Poland and Ukraine). bmibaby, the low-cost regional offshoot of BMI, has already announced new routes for next summer, all of which are available to book now via bmibaby.com.

The new routes are East Midlands Airport to Gibraltar, Corfu, Murcia and Naples and Birmingham Airport to Lisbon, Rome (Fiumicino) and Barcelona.

In addition, a couple of routes will go year-round - East Midlands to Cologne and Birmingham to Prague.

Unlike other no-frillers, bmibaby allocates seats at check-in, offers free online check-in for passengers travelling with cabin baggage and its checked luggage allowance is a hefty 22kg.
