AirAsia X: eat, play, love
Inspired perhaps by this summer’s feel-good cinema hit, Asian no-frills powerhouse AirAsia X has announced a new sale entitled ‘Eat, Play, Love’.
Until 8 November 2010, a raft of discounted one-way flights are available for departure between 1 April and 30 June 2011 from the carrier’s Kuala Lumpur base and other Asian airports. The Malaysian airport is an ideal gateway to region, especially with AirAsia X’s extremely cheap connecting flights.
Thailand fares departing from Kuala Lumpur feature, such as flights to Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Krabi from as little as £22.
Cheap flights to India are also available: Kochai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Hyderabad fares start at £33.
Meanwhile, fares for Phnom Penh in Cambodia, Haikou in China, and Vientiane in Laos, are offered for as little as £22, whereas flights to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam start at only £15.
The fares quoted here include taxes (except those specific to individual airports) and charges, although AirAsia X applies a “convenience fee” to credit, debit or charge card payments.
