ATR bullish on new aircraft sales

ATR expects to sign up 25 orders for new aircraft during the show, pushing its sales for the year to over 50 and giving it the most healthy backlog since 1993. Meanwhile the manufacturer is handing over the first of 30 new ATR 72s to India’s Air Deccan during the show.

777-200LR arrives in Paris after Montreal visit

The second Boeing 777-200LR, WD002, arrived at Paris after visiting Montreal on 9 June, where the aircraft and its interior were displayed to Air Canada. The business-class interior, plus new cabin features never seen in a Boeing airliner, will be used for an eight-week demonstration tour.

F-35 in gear

Goodrich has delivered the nose landing gear for the first Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, now in final assembly and scheduled for roll-out a year from now. The main gear will follow soon.
